I'm looking to create a link from our website to open a form. The form will have a handful of fields and we'd like to allow people to upload a picture. The idea is to send that data including the picture to a SQL database. Please let me know if that would be possible with Jotforms. Thanks!!

Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can send data to your database without coding by using a 3rd party platform like Zapier. You can check out these links from Zapier to connect SQL server or MySQL. Furthermore, you can also send data to your database by using a PHP/Script to pass your submission data to your own database. Here is a guide on how to do that.

Give it a try and let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

Another related question. Do I need to use mySQL or can I use SQL Server? Thanks!

Hi John,

Zapier currently have support with Jotform and SQL Server, as shown on this page.

Thank you! I'll check it out.

I have another question. I created a test form and submitted a couple of entries including photos. When I exported the records, the photo field had a link back to jotforms. Is there a way to send the picture as a blob or something that doesn't require linking back. I'll be pushing the data into SQL and connecting a card printing app to that database. A link likely won't work for this purpose.
